Latest news Update About Google Sg Search: Internet giant, Google has introduced a new tool for search named, Google Instant on Wednesday. Google is trying to make search a process instead of a just hitting a button to get concrete results and thus the company has released the tool that allows users to constantly refine their queries.Google Instant involves innovations which might be difficult to imitate for competitors and Google enjoys an advantage of leading into new era of Internet search. Some experts question the need for such now technology as Google dominates search market even with various competitors trying to increase their popularity.
Microsoft and Yahoo are currently focusing on improving back end technologies while Google innovations have come from front-end user interface design and the back-end work. If the new feature takes off, Google will be able to strengthen its position as the leading innovator in search technologies.
“We care a lot about child safety and these kinds of issues, so we had to think a lot about auto-complete and how that works as you’re getting the results,” said Google product manager Johanna Wright.
The auto complete will leave out the words which are considered “violence, hate, or pornography” by the company. The new tool could drive up the Web giant’s revenue and profits by sendingusers to most common and expensive pages.
Google claims that the Instant could save between 2 and 5 seconds from the average 25-second search. The shares of eh company rose 1.3% to $470.58 on Wednesday.
