ENDHIRAN MUSIC TRACKS TOP ITUNES CHARTS
This is the first time in history that a Tamil movie soundtrack hits the iTunes top spot so the Bollywood belle and Tamil movie star have lots to celebrate and we bet fans can't wait to hear all the tracks! S. Shankar's Endhiran, the Robot is a Tamil action-packed science-fiction flick.
Aishwarya plays a woman named Sharmili and Rajnikanth portrays Vaseegaran in the movie that took about two years to film!
The film tells the story of Dr. Vaseegaran, played by Rajinikanth, a scientist who specializes in robotics. In true fashion, Dr. Vaseegaran creates a robot that looks like a human. He names the robot Chitti and introduces it to other humans, which obviously leads to some very fascinating situations!
The soundtrack contains seven songs with mixed genres like romantic tunes and rock tracks. Ash, Rajnikanth and A.R. Rahman all attended the soundtrack launch in Kuala Lumpur.
The rights to the soundtrack have been acquired by Think Music and it cost the company approximately $1.6 million! But it looks like it was worth the money as the soundtrack is now taking over the iTunes charts!
Rajnikanth charmed the world as 'the boss' in S. Shankar's 2007 flick Sivaji and the number has become a YouTube sensation across the globe with newspapers like New York Magazine giving it a shout out for being cooler than the latest Hollywood block buster! Ash, who recently did Raavan with her hubby Abhishek Bachchan, goes back to her southern roots in this Tamil sci-fi flick that surely will make fans go wild!
