HAS PRABHUDEVA WED NAYANTHARA???
The latest buzz is that Prabhudeva and Nayanthara have exchanged flower garland(Maalai) in the presence of Prabhu Deva’s parents at their residence in Chennai Alwarpet.
Prabhudeva’s father Choreographer Sundaram, mother Mahadevamma and younger brother Nagendhra Babu have been living in the house.
According to leading Tamil magazine naakeeran, 4 priests conducted a special 4 hour Yagam at Sundaram masters residence from 10:30 A.M to 2:30 P.M.
Prabhudeva and Nayantara couple attended the pooja along with Prabhu’s parents.
Reportedly, the couple had exchanged Maalai like bride and bride-groom with the priests chanting the Mantra and the pair were showered with flower petals and yellow rice(Aksathai) in the gesture of blessing them.
Only a very few close relatives to choreographer Sundaram were present during the ceremony.
According to hindu religion, the exchange of garlands or Maalai Mattral between a Man and Woman indicates the commencement of family life in which two hearts are united.
Prabhudeva the father of three children lost his 10 year old son who was suffering from cancer in Dec 2008..
The couple’s affair has picked up since the movie Villu. Sources also revealed that both Prabhu and Nayantara have been living together without getting married. Initially they kept their affair secretly despite media gossips.
Nowadays they are attending public functions together like husband and wife. They first appeared together at the South Scope Calendar launch function. Then they danced together at the felicitation function of TN Chief Minister in Feb 2010.
Recently they were seen together in Director Siddique’s daughter marriage.
There was news that Kollywood bigwigs negotiated with Prabhu Deva on request of his legal wife Ramlath. But Prabhu Deva replied that he cannot leave Nayanthara as they both have become so intimate to each other. If he leaves her, she would commit suicide.
Aware of the fact he cannot marry Nayanthara without the approval of wife Ramlath, Prabhu Deva has been trying through his parents and family members for compromise settlement with Ramlath.
