KAAVALAN'S HIT AND VEDI'S MISS
His Kaavalan, remake of the Malayalam flick Bodyguard, is in the final stages of completion and is a sure shot for Diwali release according to production sources.
Kaavalan is a comedy directed by Malayalam director Siddique and stars Asin opposite Vijay.
On the other hand, Vikram – Boopathy Pandian’s venture Vedi that was supposed to have been released for Diwali is more or less shelved and will not see the light of the day for Diwali. Point, in fact, is that the title Vedi is referential to the Diwali festival.
