Wishing everyone a Very Happy Diwali. It is that time of the year when I miss being in my home country the most. The atmosphere in India and especially in Mumbai is very cheerful. Everyone buys gifts for everyone and themselves, phone, car, house; it’s a jolly mood all over the city. Everyone decorated their houses with pretty lights and candles ( पणती(s)). Diwali brings joy to everyone’s life back home.I still remember as kids we used to go to the terrace of our apartment buildings to light crackers very early in the morning. And in the excitement of getting up early we often used to end up staying awake the whole night, eyes wide open, fixed on the wall clock, seeing the seconds hand moving like a snail, wondering when would I go to light the crackers.
I recently happened to see a Hindi movie ‘Wake Up Sid!’. It was a very nostalgic to see the movie. I missed Mumbai, my college, my friends. I missed being Sid . Why in the world am I discussing movies. This post is for Diwali Greetings and it was supposed to be just ‘Happy Diwali’. Duhhhh!!!!!!!
I procrastinated to write a blog for a month thinking that it takes a lot of time. But when I sat today just to wish everyone a very very happy Diwali, see what all I ended up writing in no time! This is the magic of blog. It helps you to flush out your thoughts. aaaahhhhhhh .. I diverted again!!! .. grrrr….
I will force myself to keep it short and avoid being so random at this time.
