VIJAY TO JOIN 3 IDIOTS CAMP FROM FEB 7 | REASON FOR COMING BACK
The much awaited news regarding Vijay joining 3 Idiots remake has been confirmed and he will be joining the team of 3 Idiots on February 7th, 2011. The shooting has started last week without any buzz with the other lead actors.
On the first day of sets Vijay will be doing a song alongside of Ileana, which was already composed by music director Harris Jayraj. Meanwhile Shankar will be canning important scenes with Ileana, Jeeva, Srikanth, Omi Vaidya and Sathyaraj. After topping the headlines for many times it’s finally Vijay who has been locked as a lead actor for this project.
And coming to reason of Suriya walking out of the project is Suriya’s condition regarding his remuneration and dubbing rights. The rumor in Kollywood is that Suriya has asked for a remuneration of Rs 12 crore and also the Telugu dubbing rights, which are Rs 8to Rs 10 Crore as per today’s market price. Gemini Film Circuits was on a step back as they hold the dubbing rights for Telugu and are in plans to do with Tollywood Prince Mahesh Babu.
Talks between director Shankar and Suriya have broke down as the actor is firm on Telugu dubbing rights. So directed Shankar is back to his first option Vijay.
Ileana is joining the team of 3 Idiots camp for the first day shoot today in Ooty. Director Shankar is going to shoot few important scenes with Ileana today.
Ileana tweets “G’morning tweeps! Been up bright n early n just getting ready for my first day of shoot with the one n only Shankar!! Excited!
