WATCH 17 TH STAR SCREEN AWARDS 2011 VIDEOS | WINNERS LIST
The nominations for the 17th Annual Star Screen Awards throw up a few surprises. For instance, Dabangg and My Name Is Khan, two blockbusters of 2010, are missing from the Best Film nominations.However, both Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan are, as expected, contending in the Best Actor category for their performances in aforementioned movies. Interestingly, Rishi Kapoor is also nominated in the same category for his performance in the small-budget film Do Dooni Char.
In the Best Director category, too, Abhinav Kashyap and Karan Johar are missing. Rather, Maneesh Sharma has made it for his direction in Band Baaja Baaraat.
