R. Silambarasan, Simbu, or S. T. R.,is a Tamil film actor who has also worked as a director, playback singer and songwriter. He began his acting career doing many minor uncredited roles as a child artist in films produced by his father T. Rajendar. He made his debut under his father's direction in 2002 and has since acted in several films in lead roles. His successful films include Manmadhan, Silambattam and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa.
STR Simbu celebrates his 28th Birthday on Feb 3rd. He has said that it would be a quite birthday this time.
He was injured during the shoot of Vaanam Movie directed by Krish. Simbu was shooting for a bike riding scene when the accident occurred on a busy road. Reportedly the actor lost his balance and fell from the motorcycle. Simbu suffered several bruises on her hands and feet and was taken to hospital immediately.
So Simbu decided to celebrate his Quite 28th Birthday. The actor also has Vettai Mannan and Podaa Podi to look forward to this year 2011.
