AERO ENGINEERING STUDENT COMMITS SUICIDE
The student, K Nagender Reddy, 22, was a native of Rajahmundry and was pursuing first year aeronautical engineering at King Aeronautical Engineering College at Peerzadiguda.
At about 7 am on Sunday, Nagender left his rented accommodation at LB Nagar and checked into a room at Padmavathi lodge near Kamineni Hospital around 11.30 am.
As he did not come out of the room for a long time and did not answer calls of the staff, the lodge management grew suspicious and broke open the door. They found Nagender lying dead on the bed. Police were informed about the incident and cops found an empty soft drink bottle in the room.
According to LB Nagar SI E Jahangir, Nagender had consumed poison mixed in a soft drink.
Police also found a suicide note purportedly written by Nagender in the room. According to the SI, the note read: “I have no complaints against anyone. No one is responsible for my death. Sorry everyone.”
Police are talking to Nagender’s friends and waiting for the arrival of his parents from Rajahmundry to find out more details. A suspicious death case was registered under section 174 of CrPC.
