BHARAT BANDH AND BANK STRIKE ON 7 TH SEPT | ALL INDIA BANDH TODAY
Bharat bandh:The trade union wings of all major parties, including the Congress, have planned yet another Bharat bandh on September 7 to protest spiralling prices.
At a meeting of the major TUs here on Thursday, it was decided that a 24-hour bandh would be organised all over the country crippling crucial sectors like telecom, banking, transport and mining.
Among the significant events happening during this week are a nation wide strike by public Sector Bank employees, a rally by Rahul Gandhi and the festival of Eid. Apart from these there are others too scheduled to take place during the same week.
On Tuesday, 7th September, the employees of public sector banks shall hold a strike against the govt measures to welcome more private companies into the banking sector.
