Deivamagan is the film which was tentatively named and was directed by AL Vijay of kireedom and Madrasapattinam fame. Both Vikram and the director have been denying that their title was Deivamagan when media reports called the film so.
The title was already bought by Ameer for his film with Sivaji’s grandson and Actor Prabhu’s son. They held the title and were not ready to part with the title which led both Vikram and Vijay to deny and eventually rechristen the film.
The film under making is now renamed as Pitha which was earlier called as Deivamagan. Pitha has Vikram and Anushka in the lead role which is directed by Vijay who got inspired by a popular Hollywood film to make this Tamil film.
