Rana is a forthcoming Tamil historical action film to be directed by K. S. Ravikumar. Starring Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone in lead roles,the film will be jointly produced by Ocher Picture Productions and Eros International. The film will feature cinematography by R. Rathnavelu and music by A. R. Rahman.With filming to start in March 2011, the film is expected to be released in 2012, along with dubbed versions in Telugu and Hindi.
